Social Media: A Small but Important Update

I wanted to share a quick, but important, update with you all.

I’ve recently made the decision to step away from both Instagram and Facebook, and I won’t be returning to those platforms.
This wasn’t a decision I made lightly.
Over the past few years, social media has been such a huge part of my journey as an author, connecting with readers, authors, sharing updates, and celebrating book releases together.
I’ve met so many wonderful people through those spaces, and I’m incredibly grateful for every message, comment, and bit of support you’ve given me there.
Through the bookstagram community especially, I’ve met so many incredible people, both readers and fellow authors, and, in many ways, it felt like I’d found my people.
Writing can be a very solitary experience. It’s quiet, focused, and often tucked away in a small corner of a much bigger bookish world. But the through these connections, the messages, the comments, the reviews, and the hype, you’ve brought that corner to life in a way I can’t fully put into words.
You’ve made it feel less solitary. And for that, I’m grateful.
But I’ve reached a point where I need to make a change.
Choosing a different pace
I want to focus more on what truly matters to me - writing, books, family, and my overall mental wellbeing.
Like many of you, I’ve found how easy it is to get pulled into the cycle of algorithms, scrolling, and constant noise. And while there are positives, I’ve realised it’s no longer where I do my best work, or feel my best.
So, I’m choosing to step away and create a quieter, more intentional space for myself where I can reconnect with my creativity, tell better stories, and show up in a way that feels more aligned.
How to stay connected
But this doesn’t mean I’m disappearing, it's far from it.
The best places to keep up with everything I’m working on are

If you followed me on Instagram or Facebook, thank you. Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or joined along the way, your support - every like, comment, message, and review - has made a real difference to this part of my life.
This is just a shift and not an ending, and I’m really excited for what comes next.
Thanks for being here.
