I'm a British-Indian suspense thriller writer based in Bedfordshire, originally from West London, UK. I live with my husband and one too many houseplants than I'd like to admit.

 

In my novels, I aim to infuse emotional depth with the darker aspects of reality by exploring a range of topics within the world of suspense, including domestic, crime, and psychological fiction.

My books are known for unreliable narrators, emotional intensity, and twists readers don’t see coming. Some make you question what you believe, who you trust, and sometimes even your own morals.​​

 

At the heart of my writing is the belief that the biggest battle we fight is often within our own minds. ​​​

 

My books tackle the inner demons people face, from overthinking, anxiety and paranoia to the weight of societal expectations.​​ I use this internal conflict to shine a light on the reality of mental health challenges, offering a sense of understanding and connection through stories that not only aim to engage, but resonate deeply with readers who may be facing such struggles. ​​​​​​

 

Readers often tell me that, somewhere along the way, they felt understood. Some have even reached out to say my stories helped them feel seen, which means more to me than any award ever could.​​​​​

 

That said, I'm incredibly proud to be an author with award-winning and award-nominated titles, including If They Knew, Seven Sins, The Neighbour, and 'Til Death Do Us Part.

 

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me travelling, reading, listening to 90s R&B, binge-watching Friends on repeat, or tending to my plants. I’m an introvert, and love anything creative. Oh, and I'm also a huge fan of big cats.
