My next book, Liar, Liar, is officially available for pre-order.
This one focuses on quiet tensions, the things left unsaid, and the cracks that form in relationships before anything breaks. This new story leans even further into a domestic suspense drama, dives deeper into anxiety, paranoia and loneliness and is more unsettling than anything I've written to date.
At its core, this is a domestic suspense novel is about lies, betrayal, loneliness.
It starts with something small. A message. A group. A place that feels safe. Until it isn’t.
As the story unfolds, the lines between truth and deception begin to blur. Secrets resurface. Instincts are ignored. And the question at the heart of it all becomes impossible to avoid: How well can you trust the friends you meet online?
Why This Book Means So Much to Me
This story has lived in my head for a long time. It’s been shaped, rewritten, and pulled apart more times than I can count.
I wanted to explore:
The psychology of relationships
The subtle warning signs we choose to ignore
The consequences of silence
The ease of pretending to be someone you're not
The safety of online forums and the strength of community
It’s a story about the things we sense but can’t prove. The quiet discomfort we explain away. The truths we bury because facing them would change everything.
Synopsis
Every username hides a stranger. One hides a killer.
Judy Harper never meant to lie. At least, not about something like this. But the Widows’ Circle, an online bereavement forum, is full of women who understand loneliness, and Judy has never needed this connection more.
What begins as a place of comfort quickly turns sinister when members of the group start disappearing. Their stories end abruptly. Their usernames vanish.
Coincidently, one by one, women are found dead across Ashridge town.
Judy is forced to question the people she’s trusted, the secrets she’s shared, and the true purpose of the forum she thought was helping her heal.
Is someone watching the widows? And is Judy next?
